Dr. Wimal Dissanayake

Internationally-recognized authority and author on Asian cinema, Professor with the Academy of Creative Media and Director of the Intercultural Studies Program, University of Hawai‘i and the East-West Center. He is the author and editor of a large number of books on cinema published by such prestigious presses as Oxford, Cambridge, Indiana, Minnesota University Press. He is the Founding Editor of the East-West Film journal.
